Know the Causes and Cure of Psoriasis in Winters

The prickling burning of any part of the body is usually termed as skin disease, although it can be due to a special condition called Psoriasis. In Psoriasis, abrupt production of skin cells results in layering of skin which appears like a thick patch. The infected portion of skin stagnates into itchy, scaly and turns red in colour and it seems to be quite awful. Psoriasis spreads in body parts like knees, elbow, lower back and scalp and equally spreads over skin and nails. There have been no specific reasons found for this ailment although cuts, skin burns, after effects of certain cosmetic creams, medicinal allergies, genetic reasons, excessive consumption of alcohol, stress etc can be held responsible and the list continues.

High Probability In Winters-

The frequency at which it prompts accelerates during the cold weather, although it is not a contingent disease but due to the dryness in the atmosphere, inadequate sunlight and less warmth may trigger it up frequently. Patients face hard times facing the society with their bruised appearances and often feel unwelcomed. However, constant application of moisturising solutions is deeply recommended along with medicines which reduce such inflammation, specialized shampoos etc are readily available in the market.
